關家蒨(Nancy Kwan，1939–)香港出生的中英混血兒，母親是英國人。1960年演出《蘇絲黃的世界》，隔年，演出《花鼓歌》，成為好萊塢最引人矚目的演員。在1960年代，她的美貌，被認為是東方女性性感的象徵。

在關家蒨之前，好萊塢電影中的東方人都由白人飾演。例如《大地》(The Good Earth，1937)、《龍種》(Dragon Seed，1944)、《生死戀》(Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing，1955)，片中的女主角分別由露薏絲蕾娜(Luise Rainer)、凱瑟琳赫本(Katharine Hepburn)、珍妮佛瓊絲(Jennifer Jones)擔任。關家蒨是首位在西方電影裡，擔當主角的亞裔女星。後來，好萊塢接受亞裔演員出任電影主要角色，她的成功，有很大的影響。
