西席地密爾(Cecil B. Demille，1881 –1959) ：美國著名電影導演、編劇和製片。自1913至1956年，共執導70部影片。是好萊塢黃金時代的大師，以拍攝“聖經題材”的史詩巨片著稱。執導的《十誡》(The Ten Commandments，1923) 和《萬王之王》(The King of Kings，1927)，奠定了他在影壇的地位。《戲王之王》獲得奧斯卡最佳影片獎。1959年的《賓漢》原定由他執導演，因年邁多疾作罷，同年因心臟病發去世。1992年獲奧斯卡終身成就獎。
