愛爾莎蘭切斯特 (Elsa Lanchester，1902 –1986) :在戲劇，電影和電視領域擁有長期職業的英國女演員。第一次世界大戰後，開始在劇院和歌舞廳表演。1929年與却爾斯勞頓 (Charles Laughton)結婚，開始在英國電影中扮演小角色。這對夫婦搬到好萊塢後，在《科學怪人新娘》（Bride of Frankenstein，1935）中擔任主角。在1940年代和1950年代一直扮演配角。1949年的《聖女歌聲》 (Come to the Stable)和1957年的情婦 (Witness for the Prosecution) 獲得奧斯卡最佳女配角獎，後者是她與夫婿一起演出的十二部電影的最後一部。
