梅爾吉勃遜(Mel Gibson，1956–)電影演員、導演、編劇和製片。在澳大利亞國立戲劇藝術學院學習表演。在20世紀80年代時是動作片明星。1995年，他兼製作、導演和演員的《英雄本色》獲得奧斯卡10項提名，贏得奧斯卡最佳影片、導演等5項獎。 2004年，他執導和製作的《受難記：最後的激情》廣受佳評。導演的影片有：《真愛》、《英雄本色》、《受難記：最後的激情》(The Passion of the Christ，2004)、《阿波卡獵逃》(Apocalypto，2006)。
