史本塞屈賽(Spencer Tracy，1900 –1967)是好萊塢黃金時代的大明星之一。1922年進入紐約的美國戲劇藝術學院，同時開始在百老匯演出。他的第一部電影是《Up the River》，在《誰來晚餐》殺青兩周後，驟逝。40年代，經常與凱瑟琳赫本(Katharine Hepburn)搭檔演出，在銀幕上下均傳為佳話。在37年的影劇生涯中，演了75部影片。曾九度提名奧斯卡最佳男演員獎，並贏得兩次，其記錄與勞倫斯奧利弗共同保持。1999年，美國電影學會評選為20世紀最偉大的美國男影星第十位。
