梅德琳嘉露 (Madeleine Carroll，1906 –1987) :英國女演員，以其貴族氣質，優雅舉止著稱，被譽為英國最美的女演員之一。1928年演出《The First Born》迅速走紅。是1930年代和1940年代的英國和美國影壇的巨星。頂峰時期在1938年，是當時收入最高的女演員。最為人熟知的作品是希區考克 (Alfred Hitchcock)的《國防大機密》(The 39 Steps，1935)。她的姐姐死於1940年的倫敦大轟炸後，致力於幫助受傷的軍人和因戰爭而流離失所或受傷的兒童，放棄了大半演藝事業。
